These Terms & Conditions apply when you purchase services from Lesley Walsh through lesleywalsh.co.uk or an associated checkout platform.
Please read them before purchasing. Some services have additional terms specific to that service, which are included below.
About me
Services are provided by Lesley Walsh through lesleywalsh.co.uk.
If you have any questions about a service, an order or these terms, you can contact me through the contact page on my website.
Payment
Prices are shown on the relevant service or product page.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required at the point of purchase or according to the payment terms agreed before work begins.
Where a payment plan has been agreed, payments must be made according to the agreed schedule.
What you need to provide
To provide a service, I may need information, website access, login details, content or other material from you.
You are responsible for making sure the information you provide is accurate and that you have permission to give me access to any systems, accounts or material required to carry out the work.
If I cannot continue because I am waiting for information or access from you, any agreed delivery times may be extended accordingly.
Advice and results
Any advice or recommendations I provide are based on the information available to me and my professional assessment at the time.
Websites, search engines, software and online platforms change regularly. I cannot guarantee specific results such as search rankings, website traffic, enquiries, sales or revenue.
Nothing I provide should be treated as legal, financial or other regulated professional advice.
Third-party services
Some services may involve or rely on third-party platforms, software or providers.
I am not responsible for changes, outages, restrictions or other problems caused by third-party services that are outside my control.
Where appropriate, I will let you know if a third-party issue affects work I am carrying out for you.
Cancellation and refunds
Your cancellation and refund rights depend on the service you purchase, whether you are purchasing as a consumer or a business, and whether work has begun.
Consumer cancellation rights
If you purchase a service online as a consumer, you will normally have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract, without giving a reason.
If you are purchasing a service wholly for business purposes, the statutory consumer cooling-off period does not normally apply. Any cancellation arrangements agreed for that service will still apply.
Services starting within 14 days
Some of my services are designed to begin or be completed during the 14-day cancellation period.
Where applicable, I may ask you to expressly request that I begin work before the cancellation period ends.
If you make that request and then cancel before the service is fully completed, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for work already carried out, subject to the applicable legal requirements.
If the service is fully performed during the cancellation period, your statutory right to cancel can end once the work is completed, provided you expressly requested the early start and acknowledged that completing the service would end your cancellation right.
Purchasing a service or accepting these general Terms & Conditions does not, by itself, constitute an express request to begin work early.
How to cancel
To cancel a service, contact me using the contact details on my website and clearly state that you wish to cancel.
Please include your name and enough information for me to identify your purchase.
You may also use the statutory model cancellation form where applicable, although you are not required to use that particular form.
Where a refund is due under your statutory cancellation rights, it will normally be issued within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice, using your original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Any additional cancellation arrangements for a particular service are set out in the relevant section below.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights, including your rights where a service has not been provided with reasonable care and skill.
Your information
I use the information you provide to process your purchase, provide the service, communicate with you and manage our working relationship.
I use third-party services as part of running my business and delivering services. The particular services used depend on what you purchase.
Further information about how your personal information is collected, processed and stored is available in my Privacy Policy.
Website Reviews
These additional terms apply to purchases of:
- Quick Wins Website Review
- Full Website Review
- Deep Dive Website Review
What’s included
Each Website Review includes the work described on the relevant product page at the time you purchase it.
The scope of your review depends on the product selected. Where your website contains more pages or features than the purchased review covers, I’ll concentrate on the pages and areas most relevant to that review and explain what has been included.
Quick Wins Website Review
The Quick Wins Website Review is a focused review across your website, including how it works on mobile.
I’ll look at the areas relevant to your website and identify the three improvements I believe could make the biggest difference.
You’ll receive your recommendations in a straightforward PDF report, explaining what I’ve found, what I recommend changing and what to tackle first.
Full Website Review
The Full Website Review provides a wider review of your website, covering up to 10 pages, with scores, priority fixes and a 30-day action plan.
Deep Dive Website Review
The Deep Dive Website Review provides a more comprehensive review, including a full site crawl, SEO, AI visibility, performance and link checks.
What isn’t included
A Website Review provides an assessment and recommendations. It does not include making the recommended changes to your website.
Website Reviews also do not include:
- Ongoing support or follow-up calls
- Legal, accessibility or GDPR compliance audits
- Guarantees about search rankings, traffic, enquiries, sales or other results
If something in your completed report isn’t clear, you’re welcome to contact me for clarification.
If you’d like help implementing the recommendations or want ongoing support, this can be arranged separately or through my Pick & Fix membership.
Website Review Details form
After purchasing a Website Review, you’ll be asked to complete my Website Review Details form.
Please provide accurate information and a working website address.
If your website is password protected, under maintenance or otherwise inaccessible, you’ll need to provide any access information I need to carry out the review.
The delivery period does not begin until I’ve received your completed Website Review Details form and the information I need to carry out your review.
The form also includes an acknowledgement concerning the statutory cancellation period and a request for work to begin before that period ends.
Submitting your website details alone does not constitute an express request for early performance. That request is made through the specific acknowledgement on the form.
I will not begin a consumer’s review during the statutory cancellation period unless the required express request has been received.
Turnaround time
Your report will be delivered within 3–5 working days from receipt of your completed Website Review Details form and the information needed to carry out the review, provided the review can lawfully begin.
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
Forms received after 4pm UK time, or on a weekend or bank holiday, will be treated as received on the next working day.
If I cannot access your website or need further information from you before I can continue, the delivery period will pause until I receive what I need.
If there is an unexpected delay at my end, I’ll contact you as soon as possible.
Changes to your website
Your review is based on your website as it exists when I carry out the review.
If you make significant changes to your website after the review has been carried out, reviewing those changes is not included in your original purchase.
A substantially changed website may require a new review.
How I carry out Website Reviews
I may use a combination of manual assessment, website analysis software and AI-assisted tools when carrying out your review.
Automated and AI-assisted analysis supports the review process. The recommendations included in your final report are selected and provided as part of my Website Review service.
Website Review cancellation and refunds
Payment for a Website Review is taken in full at purchase.
Cancelling within 14 days
If you purchase a Website Review as a consumer online, you normally have 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel without giving a reason.
Because Website Reviews are designed to be delivered within a few working days, you can expressly request that I begin work before the cancellation period ends.
After purchasing, you’ll receive a Website Review Details form containing a specific acknowledgement of your cancellation rights and a request for early performance.
I will only begin work during the statutory cancellation period once you’ve expressly requested an early start.
If you cancel before work begins
If you exercise your statutory cancellation right before I’ve started work, you’ll receive a full refund.
If you cancel after work begins
If you’ve expressly requested that I begin during the cancellation period and then cancel before your review is fully completed, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the service already provided.
Any amount charged will be calculated in accordance with the applicable consumer cancellation rules.
Where a refund is due, the amount already paid will be refunded less any lawful charge for work provided before cancellation.
If your review has been completed
Once your Website Review has been fully performed, your statutory right to cancel can end if you expressly requested that work begin during the cancellation period and acknowledged that you would lose that right once the service was fully performed.
This does not remove your statutory rights if the service was not provided with reasonable care and skill.
If I cannot complete your review
If I cannot carry out the review because your website remains inaccessible or I cannot obtain information I need, I’ll contact you.
If we cannot resolve the problem within 7 days, I may cancel the order and refund any amount due.
Cancelling your order
You can request cancellation by contacting me through my website, clearly stating that you wish to cancel your Website Review.
